Every step we take is a sustainable one.

New factory – more sustainability

The new Rosa Gres factory in Vallmoll has the certification AAI (Autorización Ambiental Integrada (AAI TA20090037). Our factory is considered a low-emissions facility.

Rosa Gres is one of the first companies to have been awarded the DAP Construction certification for all of its products.

The DAP is the first certificate to take into account product lifecycle.

Rosa Gres was part of a technical committee that developed DAP guidelines in collaboration with Ascer, the Technical Ceramic Institute and the University of Pompeu i Fabra.

All Rosa Gres processes are inspired by Cradle to Cradle principles. The proyecta series is our first product Cradle to Cradle certified. In nature, every element finishes its lifecycle by transforming into a new element, without generating waste. Cradle to Cradle proposes imitating this natural process. We design our products with a focus on their reuse and continuous transformation, which is the new goal of the sustainability in society.

Our products and systems can contribute to LEED points in architectural projects
This boosts sustainability and provides additional value for architects. All Rosa Gres products can contribute to LEED points. We provide: recycled content certificates and IRS certificates. For more information on how to obtain LEED points, contact our technical department.

FSC certificate for wood

At Rosa Gres, we ensure that all the wood that we use in grates comes from sources that are committed to sustainable forestry practices. Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certification is important, because it guarantees that the wood has not been harvested from an exploited forest.
