El clima a como elegir tu pavimento

Ice
In extremely cold weather, low temperatures can cause tiles to contract. Distinct elements contained in tiles can contract in different degrees, and the resulting tension can cause cracking.

ROSA GRES RECOMMENDATION:

Choose ice-resistant tile / ISO 10545-12

Thermal shock
In mild climates, a different situation occurs. Differences in day and night temperatures can vary considerably. These changes can also create tension in the tile, which can cause cracking.

ROSA GRES RECOMMENDATION:

Choose thermal shock-resistant tile / ISO 10545-9

What ceramic material is guaranteed to withstand freezing temperatures and rapid temperature change?
Porcelain tile is the most resistant flooring material because it can endure high levels of tension. If you choose another type of ceramic material, which will be less resistant, it will be important to strictly follow requirements for anti-ice installation, which are complicated and costly.
