1. Tank
The place where the water is held, and which had to withstand its pressure and continuous contact. In cement pools, the tank can be painted, surfaced with mosaic tile or a liner. The tank often has stairs and sometimes other design elements such as ramps or water beds. In terms of depth, pools are increasingly being built with little or medium-level depth, so that you easily dip your feet into the water and fully enjoy your water space.
2. Border
This element surrounds the parameter of the pool. It is technically referred to as the border. Because you sit, walk and jump into the pool from the border, it should be anti-slip and safe. And since it makes an important visual impact, it should also be attractive.
3. Overflow channel and grate
This is a particular element of overflowing pools. It consists of a channel that surrounds the pool that collects the water and is covered by a grate. Your choice of grate will depend on the style of your pool.
4. Decking
This is the floor area that surrounds the border. It needs special attention because the floor deck is where a lot of activity takes place, so it should be anti-slip and safe. The decking should be ceramic tile, grass, gravel or stone. But this will depend on your personal choice and the location of the pool. The advantage of porcelain tile decking is that it’s highly resistant and is easy to maintain.
